Below you will find a number of the Local ministries of Burning Hope Ministries. It is our hope you will pray for us that through our partnering efforts with the Lord, they yield a harvest to the glory of God! The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18. This we know and count on in every one of the places He leads us.
CHURCH IN THE PARK
Since 2007, we have been blessed to pastor Church in the Park, our church in downtown Houston, Texas. Every Saturday morning at 7:30AM we open up the gates seeking to avail ourselves to the hurting, helpless and homeless people of the Houston area. God has blessed this church with an abundance of gifts and as such, we utilize them in worship, the ministry of God’s Word and prayer to call upon the power of the Holy Spirit that He might bring the lost to salvation, heal the sick and bring deliverance to those in need. We give out doughnuts and coffee and then at the conclusion of our service we offer sack lunches and toiletry supplies and once a month clothing of some kind.
We are located and 3401 Fannin, Houston, Texas 77004 at Lord of the Streets. They have been a true blessing to us.

UnderOver Fellowship
Since 2018 we have been blessed to lead worship every Wednesday night as well as on other occasions. UnderOver Fellowship is a wonderfully blessed ministry and church located at 600 S. Frazier in Conroe, Texas. Led by Pastor Jerry Vineyard they host a Bible Study every Wednesday night around 6:15PM to the hurting, helpless and homeless people of Conroe and surrounding area. They also hold a Church service and Bible Study on Sunday mornings at Heritage Park in downtown Conroe, Texas. This is an incredible work of the Lord Jesus Christ!
CORNERSTONE CHURCH
I became affiliated with Pastor Jerry Franks, by way of an introduction through a fellow I met years ago at the TDJC Wynne Unit through my involvement with Kairos Prison Ministry . Incredible story here, but for another time. This church is a blessed place full of the Holy Spirit and God’s loving people. Since joining I have been blessed to engage in worship through the Sunday Worship Team. Lord Jesus may you be so glorified in Your church!
Kairos Prison Ministry - Wynne Unit - TDCJ
What a blessing it has been for over 14 years to go the 3rd Sunday of each month to the TDCJ Wynne Unit. By way of worship and fellowship, we engage the hearts of those God places before us. These Sunday gatherings are part of the Kairos Prison Ministry and this 3rd Sunday is called Reunion Sunday. The meetings are led by the men in white and after worship there is one who will share a testimony/topic and then we break out into small groups for discussion. The people and their stories of God’s amazing grace, the transformed lives and the love of God overflowing upon us all… well, it just doesn't get any better than this! Praise the Lord of the second & third &…Chances!
Angel tree outreach
Since 2005 we have served in the Angel Tree Christmas Celebration. This is a special celebration provided for the children of those parents who are incarcerated. Every year, it amazes me to see how the Lord uses His people to express love to so many who need a spark of hope. Hope that brings reassurance that the Lord Jesus truly never leaves us or forsakes us. Just to see a smile on the face of someone that feels God’s love, is a blessed opportunity.

Since 2001, we have been given opportunities to serve in the chapel services at the various Star of Hope missions in Houston, Texas through Worship and Preaching . In these times, God has shown a depth of brokenness not so often seen and as well, to His Glory, numbers of salvations!

Since 2008 we have been blessed to serve in various capacities, always thankful for the opportunities to share the love of God to the broken-hearted through His Word and the gift of music. Men, women and children alike find safe haven and an opportunity to heal as the God of all comfort brings restoration and hope.
Worship
As the Lord has so faithfully led, there have been many opportunities to share His love through prayer, music and the Word of God! Wherever we are and whatever we do, we seek to be His instrument that sings of His glory and love for each of us! What do we have to worship about? How can we even worship such a wonderful Lord and Savior as Jesus? Easy…when He gives us opportunity to give ourselves away, then we act upon it realizing that we can only give back what He has already given us! Of course everything that God has given us are good gifts and always for the lifting up and encouraging of the world and the peoples in it! To those who would but just trust Jesus, we are so very thankful He chooses to call us His children.
